How does Chirpify.com work?

EasyTone_4

There's a few different ways that our platform works: Direct Donations/Payments, Social Fundraising and Social Commerce.

To answer the first, Direct Payments/Donations, we allow individuals to connect  their Twitter and Paypal accounts. Once they do this, individuals can send money directly through twitter with the command "pay @person $amount for reason." Since your accounts are synonymous this can take place directly on twitter or within Chirpify. Our system is able to read the script and as a result processes said transaction.

If the other person hasn't signed up for Chirpify, they will be sent the @mention as well as a prompt by iChirpify helping them with the signup process so they can receive the money. They will never have to do this again.

As for Social Fundraising and Social Commerce, brands, artists, record labels, etc can launch a listing within our dashboard. The listing will post live to twitter. When individuals reply with the proper command (whether it be "gimme", "buy" or "donate") our system (because the tweet was pushed through our system) recognizes the response based on a lexical algorithm. If the user has an account, much like the previous answer, the transaction is processed and (if digital) the good is delivered. If not registered, much like the previous response again, our system prompts the user to sign up.

The initial purchase process is the only place where friction exists as you never have to sign up or enter credentials after the initial signup.

We want everyone's Chirpify campaign to be as successful as possible, which is why we watch them all fervently. Over the past few months, these are some of the best practices we've seen lead to campaign effectiveness.

The Dos:

1. Pre-tweet to promote your sale on Twitter
2. Curate Good Content
3. Upload a relevant, appealing photo to your listing
4. Embed your listing Elsewhere
5. Put thought into your product choices

The Do Nots:

6. Post before proofreading
7. Block the @iChirpify twitter account
8. Set your listing to tweet too often
9. Send the user away from Twitter
10. Change your listing after you launch it
